By the end of The Porch Swing Company’s media campaign, the company reached a potential global audience of 84.6 million people, resulting in over 420,000 unique views and clicks on a total of 163 unique placements in high-target publications.

Project Overview

Chelsey M. is a California-barred entertainment lawyer and founder of Unbound Legal, a law firm representing creators, management companies, agencies, platforms, content studios, live streamers, podcasters, actors, comedians, producers, and writers.

Chelsey came to us while seeking her visa, unsure how so many of her peers were getting strong media coverage that helped strengthen their cases. She knew that editorial features and long-form profiles were the gold standard for the USCIS press category — but didn’t know where to start or what kind of publications would qualify.

She needed a quality PR agency that could guide her through every step, from strategy to publication — and that’s where we came in.

Client Goals

Chelsey’s goal was to build credible, organic press coverage that demonstrated her extraordinary ability as an entertainment lawyer. More than simply appearing in media, she wanted stories that authentically represented her niche within entertainment and business law while strengthening her O-1 visa case.

The Strategy

Like all of our clients, Chelsey’s case was completely customized. The USCIS standards evolve constantly, and the availability of compliant publications can change month to month. Our team focused on:

  • Tailored Publication Mix: Balancing entertainment, fashion, and business outlets to reflect both her creative and professionalexpertise.
  • Original Content: Ensuring every article was unique to each publication, avoiding repetition or patterns that could raise USCIS scrutiny.
  • Organic Approach: No paid placements or promotional language — every feature had to read naturally and align with each outlet’s editorial tone.
  • Positioning: Framing Chelsey not as a generic lawyer, but as a key figure in entertainment law, bridging the creative and legal industries.

Results

We delivered results that exceeded expectations. In total, five USCIS-compliant publications were secured, including one syndicated on Apple News — instantly elevating Chelsey’s public visibility.

Her online profile transformed virtually overnight, resulting in a Google Knowledge Panel that clearly positions her as a recognized public figure in entertainment law. Most importantly, this body of work played a pivotal role in her visa approval.
